Clinician’s Brief, Veterinary Team Brief no longer official publications of the NAVC

Media, publisher of the veterinary community’s most-read publication brand,1 Clinician’s Brief, and Veterinary Team Brief, announced today that beginning July 1, its long-standing relationship with the North American Veterinary Community will embark on a new chapter. Brief Media will no longer produce the official publications of the NAVC, nor will Brief Media function as the publishing arm for the NAVC. Instead, all Brief Media brands will continue to be produced independently with an extensive list of esteemed authors and peer reviewers.

According to Elizabeth Green, President of Brief Media: “We have experienced tremendous growth over the past five years with our publication brands and are proud of our #1 ranking journal.1 As Brief Media strategically prepares for continued growth, we are extremely excited about this new direction and the opportunity for both organizations to put their full energy behind the specific professional challenges that speak to our areas of expertise.”

For Brief Media, this new chapter means continuing to advance knowledge and clinical expertise through the #1 trusted veterinary publications2 —Clinician’s BriefVeterinary Team Brief, and Plumb’s Therapeutics Brief—as well as the new and revolutionary point-of-care tool, Plumb’s Veterinary Drugs.
