Sophomore year of New York Vet exceeds expectations
Passionate Community of Veterinary Professionals & Partners Gather In New York City for Unparalleled CE & Collaboration
TULSA, OKLAHOMA, NOVEMBER 15, 2018—More than 2600 attendees and 270 exhibitors gathered at the Javits Center in New York City on November 8 and 9 for the second year of New York Vet, a national, 2‑day veterinary conference designed specifically for busy practicing veterinarians.
New York Vet featured a comprehensive CE program, offering more than 75 hours of RACE‑approved and NYSED‑accredited CE curated by the veterinarians behind Clinician's Brief and Veterinary Team Brief. The program, an expansion of the event's first year, covered a variety of practical topics, from approaches to cognitive dysfunction to indication and use of appetite stimulants. In addition, the veterinary nursing theater, new for 2018, covered both clinical education and career guidance for today's rapidly changing veterinary industry. All sessions offered attendees high‑quality education in energizing, interactive formats.

"I've been to [other conferences] year after year and it's just a lot of sitting, day after day. Here [the event] is only 2 days, and I got all of the CE I need," said Maija Curtis, DVM, an attendee at New York Vet 2018. "It's a really great event. I've already spoken with my husband about when we're coming next year, especially with the new locations."
"[New York Vet was] by far our best show of the year. Loved the location and staff. Loved the happy hour. It's such a fun time," said Joseph Kasabuski, a sales representative for VetMatrix. "What's not to love? It's New York City! We will without a doubt be back next year."
