Introducing Elite Veterinary Practices: A New Summit to Offer Impactful CE

Premier Veterinary Media Company to Host One-Of-A-Kind Summit to Guide Professionals to the Next Level of Practice

TULSA, OKLAHOMA—Brief Media (brief.media)—publisher of the peer-reviewed veterinary business, wellness, and team-based medicine journal Veterinary Team Brief—announces the launch of Elite Veterinary Practices Summit (vbrief.net/summit). Practice leaders, owners, and managers looking to elevate their practice will meet on April 6-7, 2018, at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in the Washington, DC metro area.

"The Veterinary Team Brief Summit will be a new kind of conference for veterinary professionals," says Amy Mohl, DVM, Veterinary Team Brief editor. "Prominent speakers from the industry will provide participants with practical strategies they can implement right away to make their practices more efficient, more profitable, and more valuable. The summit will offer established, new, and prospective practice owners training they can use to achieve the next level in running the best business possible while practicing the best medicine possible."

The summit represents the second veterinary CE event hosted by Brief Media, the first of which is New York Vet (newyorkvet.com), which will be held on November 9-10, 2017, at the Javits Center in New York, New York, in partnership with CloserStill Media.

The Veterinary Team Brief Summit will feature top thinkers from the industry in modern and progressive lecture formats in addition to traditional CE sessions tailored to address challenges faced by conference guests.

"With this first-of-its-kind event, we will empower veterinary professionals to reach new peaks in their practices," says Elizabeth Green, CEO and founder of Brief Media. "Registration will be limited. This will be a small, intimate gathering that will provide opportunities for conference guests to share the challenges they face in their practices and to receive counsel from experts in the field. I know that summit participants will return to their hospitals refreshed, with exciting ideas for leveraging new technology, increasing revenue, and leading their teams to new heights."

Caleb Frankel, VMD, the director of new product development for Brief Media, also emphasized that the summit will help practice owners and managers elevate their practices immediately.

"Whether you are considering opening a practice, preparing to sell your practice, or simply striving to innovate," says Frankel, "the Veterinary Team Brief Summit will provide actionable advice that will forever change your practice, starting the first day you get back."
