Project Manager, Marketing Services
The Marketing Services Project Manager is a key member of the Marketing Services team and will directly assist the Managing Director of Marketing Services with day-to-day media and marketing responsibilities. The Marketing Services Project Manager will work cross-departmentally to coordinate the execution of all custom programs. This position stays five steps ahead of everyone else, assisting in the management of the day-to-day content production and exceeding customer service with dynamic client communications.
The Marketing Services Project Manager will be a diligent, collaborative individual with excellent time management, marketing, and communication skills. The focus of the Marketing Services Project Manager role is to help the Marketing Services team provide excellent service to our clients and content to our audience, to support the strategic account managers, and to supervise the execution of deliverables for all custom campaigns. Required expectations are to maintain consistent attention to detail in program deliverables and timelines; to communicate in a professional and timely fashion with clients, vendors, and internal departments; to offer open communication with the Managing Director of Marketing Services, and designated strategic account manager throughout each project; to demonstrate knowledge of all Brief Media product lines; and to become fluent in all necessary software programs and functions.
Plan and execute custom Marketing Services projects in collaboration with Marketing Services team editors, veterinary officers, designers, strategic account managers, and other internal departments
Serve as the main point of contact with the client and all internal departments for multiple projects at the same time
Facilitate internal and client meetings
Create and maintain internal project schedules within project management software as well as client-facing project timelines
Prepare and deliver program status and recap reports to clients, including any recommendations for program optimization, renewal, extension, and upsell
Support the selling process by facilitating internal brainstorming sessions, developing statements of work, and participating in client pitch meetings, as needed
Training, demonstrable experience, and/or certification in project management is preferred
Proficient in a project management software system(s)
Creative problem-solving skills with ability to find efficient and elegant solutions
Experience working in the animal health industry preferred
Experience managing lead generation and/or nurturing programs using marketing automation preferred
Tech savvy, with exceptional analysis and communication skills
Highly motivated and organized and able to multitask and work under tight deadlines
Ability to handle and manage multiple custom projects across multiple clients and brands
Experience with creative or technology teams is preferred
Excellent customer service skills and able to collaborate well with different types of personalities
Demonstrate high attention to detail (background in quality assurance is a plus)
Comfortable navigating content management systems
Knowledge of HTML is a plus
Familiar with Adobe CS and working with design files
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive products
Able to facilitate meetings effectively and efficiently
Bachelor's degree preferred, with specialization in marketing, communications, English, journalism, business, or related field
3+ years of relevant experience
