Project Manager

The Project Manager will oversee day-to-day functions of the Brief Media Brand Development team. The ideal candidate is always five steps ahead of everyone else and can effectively manage the day-to-day movement of multiple projects and brands across multiple team members and deadlines.

This individual is responsible for developing timelines and project plans and ensuring tasks stay on schedule. This includes weekly scheduling of projects, daily management of tasks, and detailed organization of department files.

Consistent attention to detail with all deliverables and timelines is expected, and this individual must communicate with stakeholders, vendors, and internal departments in a professional and timely fashion. To succeed in this role, it is crucial to develop an in-depth knowledge of all Brief Media brands, to become fluent in all necessary software programs and functions, and to proactively seek to improve processes and provide solutions.

This individual must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment and possesses a strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle multiple projects concurrently with a sharp attention to detail and a passion for the team’s success.

Tulsa, Oklahoma
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Organize marketing projects for internal brands and prioritize work daily while tracking timelines

  • Diligently map out project timelines, reviews, and execution of marketing initiatives

  • Act as a liaison between sales and brand development, whether for internal collateral or deliverables for a client project

  • Ensure all deliverables meet requirements and function as desired for both Brief Media brands and client projects

  • Support Marketing Manager on marketing plans and timelines

  • Set priorities and schedules for design projects based on input from other teams

  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables for all projects

  • Collaborate with internal departments to make sure processes are in place that create efficiency with the Brand Development team

  • Protect the team and facilitate conversations between stakeholders and individuals executing the project

  • Organize and take notes for the team’s weekly marketing review meeting, including sending the agenda, prepping all deliverables to be reviewed, and facilitating meeting technology

  • Attend meetings and conferences, as needed

  • Exhibit leadership and capacity to effectively work with team members to meet project deadlines

Skills & Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree, background in project management is a plus

  • Capable of developing and executing a project from start to finish

  • Creative problem-solving skills with ability to find efficient and elegant solutions

  • Tech savvy, with exceptional writing, analytical, and oral communication skills

  • Highly motivated and organized and able to multitask and work under tight deadlines

  • Ability to handle and manage multiple projects over multiple brands, prioritizing tasks for multiple people

  • Perform extremely well under pressure and time constraints

  • Collaborate well with different types of personalities

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Demonstrate high attention to detail (background in quality assurance is a plus)

  • Familiarity with a content management system, knowledge of HTML is a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Google Drive products

  • Proficient in a project management software system

  • Familiarity with Adobe CS and working with design files

  • Ability to facilitate meetings effectively and efficiently
