We are looking for a marketing copywriter and editor who can create compelling and original copy that converts prospects into customers and customers into lifelong supporters of our brands and products. We’re interested in you because you love solving problems by creating fresh, unique copy, and you understand how the right message can create an emotional connection that inspires action. You are ideal for this position because you have professional experience in copywriting and copyediting, and you have a proven track record in crafting compelling, high-impact, and grammatically sound marketing copy for a range of audiences and mediums.

As the marketing copywriter and editor, you would create and edit clear, useful, data-driven, high-converting copy for our product marketing initiatives. You would lend your creativity, curiosity, and penchant for research to a number of different digital marketing projects, from email marketing campaigns to website landing pages, and everything in between.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Align the content you write and edit to our brand style guide and high editorial standards

  • Immerse yourself in our audience’s needs, problems, and challenges in order to craft messages that are engaging and relatable

  • Produce concise, captivating, and grammatically correct marketing copy across all platforms and mediums—including emails, social media, digital and print advertising, and websites

  • Collaborate with designers and other content creators to write and edit copy that advances data-driven campaign goals

  • Propose copy concepts, present your underlying strategy, and incorporate stakeholder feedback

  • Manage multiple projects with short deadlines in a fast-paced, highly organized environment

  • Specific areas of writing and editing include:

    • Emails (newsletters, product marketing campaigns, targeted customer acquisition messages, and other emails to onboard and engage subscribers)

    • New website content for new landing pages, campaigns, and other initiatives

    • Digital and social media advertising campaigns

    • Print advertising and direct mail pieces

    • Long-form blog content (primarily editing)

  • Stay current on best practices and trends in web copy and design as well as digital and print marketing

  • Tirelessly support the Oxford comma and use exclamation points sparingly and with great care

Skills & Qualifications: 

Required Skills

  • Impressive verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for grammar and flow of ideas
  • Experience efficiently producing effective copy that drives result

  • Experience writing approachable marketing copy that doesn’t read like in-your-face advertising

  • Ability to think beyond a static piece of content to the larger user journey and experience

  • Highly organized and capable of creating and maintaining clear deadlines and project workflows for writing and editing

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to handle numerous projects at once

  • Able to graciously receive feedback and adjust copy or pivot direction based on revisions from stakeholders

  • Bachelor’s degree (English, marketing, journalism, or related field) or equivalent experience in marketing, copywriting/editing and/or English



  • Expertise in AMA style

  • Experience with a project management tool (eg, Wrike, Asana)

  • Familiarity with design principles to support collaboration with design team

  • Knowledge of veterinary industry
